Gen2Gen Presents:
What: Empowering Community: Lessons in Innovation from the Jackson Square Partnership
Where: 75 Amory Avenue Apartments, Jamaica Plain
When: Monday, February 5 at 6PM
Come learn about the Jackson Square Redevelopment Initiative (JSRI), a comprehensive, multi-phased project in Jamaica Plain, is one of the largest community-driven neighborhood revitalization projects in the United States. The JSRI brings community organizing, affordable housing, small business opportunity, and family prosperity together to create a more inclusive community – ideals closely aligned with BBH’s own. As part of the educational goals for our Gen2Gen program, we are excited to host this panel and help others learn about this innovative approach to building community.
Panelists include representatives from each organization making up the Jackson Square Partners: Leslie Bos of the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation (JPNDC), Emily Loomis of Urban Edge, and Noah Sawyer of The Community Builders (TCB).
RSVPs are required for this event, as space is limited.
Please RSVP to paige@bbhousing.org by January 30.
