The Coolidge at Sudbury stands as a testament to B’nai B’rith Housing’s innovative and service-enriched approach. This 64-unit rental community for seniors aged 55 and older has become a vibrant community paying homage to the site’s historical roots as a greenhouse operation in the 1800s. The addition of Phase 2 in 2021 expanded the community, providing 56 additional units. And most recently the building has gone solar as panels are being installed to benefit operations and increase its long term sustainability.
With an on-site Resident Services Coordinator, connections with local organizations, and a range of amenities, residents at The Coolidge are supported in a welcoming community.

Staff Highlight: Amanda Wootan – Resident Service Coordinator at The Coolidge at Sudbury
Amanda, who recently joined Coolidge at Sudbury as a Resident Service Coordinator (RSC) , has worked in the field since high school including working for Springwell as an RSC after graduating college. Amanda loves helping people and enjoys the human service field! Amanda grew up in Georgetown MA, and has lived in Massachusetts her entire life. Welcome Amanda!
A Workhorse Affordable Housing Program Is Here to Stay
As Susan notes, the recent major increase to the Massachusetts low income housing credit, a workhorse tool to produce new housing, could not come at a better time.
In November, we attended the B’nai B’rith International Conference on Senior Housing in Tucson, Arizona. This annual conference is an opportunity to network and share ideas with other staff and board members from the B’nai B’rith senior housing network.
It was truly an honor and an extraordinary opportunity to engage with experts from various fields, and to be part of BBI’s Senior Housing Network which includes exceptional properties, staff and volunteer leaders serving seniors across the country.

This position is a critical position for B’nai B’rith Housing and will support the organization’s goals by managing all real estate development activities such as permitting, planning, and construction from beginning to end.
