Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in West Roxbury

Last Wednesday we celebrated the opening of Parkway 1208 with a ribbon cutting ceremony joined by supporters, neighbors and contributors. Thank you to all of the speakers and guests who made it out to West Roxbury for this momentous occasion.
“It is especially exciting when mixed income apartments with affordability are built in a neighborhood where we have been working really hard to site affordable rental housing and we need to do more. It is a model of possibility for what income restricted family housing across the City of Boston should look like.” – Mayor Wu
This ceremony marks the end of a successful construction process and an exciting beginning to all the future residents of our latest property, Parkway 1208.

Speakers:

Susan Gittelman, Executive Director, B’nai B’rith Housing

The Honorable Michelle Wu, Mayor, City of Boston

Secretary Edward Augustus, MA Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities

State Representative William MacGregor, House of Representatives, 10th Suffolk

Peter Folan, Head of School, Catholic Memorial

Mark Teden, Vice President of Multifamily Programs, MassHousing

Edward Zuker, Board Member, Chair of BBH Real Estate Committee and Founder & CEO of Chestnut Hill Realty

In Their Own Words…

Being able to stay in my hometown, near friends and family was great. And now I have a whole new community at The Coolidge to socialize with, too. It is wonderful!
